This beach is incredible! Samara Beach is considered by many to be one of the finest and safest white sand beaches in Costa Rica. It stretches for 4.5 miles (7km) around Samara Bay and provides hours of fun for beachcombing, sunning, canoeing, swimming, snorkeling and shallow water diving. The warm waters of the bay are enjoyable at any time of year.

Since Samara Beach is not crowded and is outlined with palm trees and tropical vegetation, it is the perfect "family" beach. There is lots of room for exploring or taking leisurely walks on the beach. Samara Village is only a short 6 minute walk away. You won't find a nicer beach in all of Costa Rica.

The Village
Approximately 3000 souls inhabit the village of Samara. The center is some 6 min. walking from the Hotel. Here you'll find typical and international food, a Super market, Pharmacy, Internet-café and Souvenirs.

Nightlife takes place in the bars on the main street or further down the beach. Dance to hot Latino music in one of the local discotheques.
